Paneer- 200 grams
Refined flour- 2 to 3 tablespoon
Green chutney- 1 tablespoon
Schezwan chutney- 1 tablespoon
Tomato ketchup- 1 tablespoon
Ginger/garlic /chillies- 1 tablespoon (combined)
Salt- as per taste
Black pepper- 1/2 tablespoon
Water- 2 tablespoon
Cornflour- 3 tablespoon
Noodles- 2 cubes (small)
Oil- for frying
Step by step recipe with images
1) Firstly heat a pan with 2 cups of water.
2) Add 1/2 tablespoon of salt in it.
3) Once it starts boiling, add 2 small cubes of noodles in it.
4) Once done, drain the noodles and let it cool down for some while.
5) Now add 3 tablespoon of refined flour in a mixing bowl.
6) Add a tablespoon of green chutney in it.
7) Add a tablespoon of schezwan chutney in it.
8) Add a tablespoon of tomato ketchup in it.
9) Add a tablespoon of ginger, garlic and chillies in it.
10) Add salt as per taste.
11) Add 1/2 tablespoon black pepper in it.
12) Add 2 to 3 tablespoon water in it.
13) Mix them well with a spoon.
14) Now dice the paneer as shown above.
15) Add the diced paneer cubes in it.
16) Coat them well with the marination.
17) Now add the coated paneer cubes in cornflour.
18) Coat them well with cornflour.
19) Now roll the boiled noodles around the paneer cubes as shown above.
20) Repeat the same with the remaining batches.
21) Heat a pan with oil for frying.
22) Once it heats up properly, add the paneer cubes in it one by one.
23) Deep fry them for 3 to 4 minutes.
24) Once it turns golden brown your thread paneer is ready.
25) Now drain them off and serve immediately.
26) Your super crispy and delicious thread paneer is ready to be served. Enjoy them with ketchup. Tastes best when served hot and crisp.
Tips and Tricks
1) The marination should neither be too thick nor too thick.
2) Coat the marinated paneer cubes with cornflour.
3) Don’t overcook the noodles.
4)Wrap the noodles around the paneer cubes.
5) Deep fry until golden brown and crisp.
6) Serve immediately.
Healthier version
1) You can use multigrain noodles instead of normal refined flour noodles.
2) You can airfry the paneer cubes instead of deep frying them.
