Healthy chocolate milkshake

Chocolate milkshake is one of the most tempting milkshake ever. It is super creamy and chocolatey and is loved by all. This yummy drink is made by adding chocolate powder and chocolate syrup in milk along with ice cream and sugar. It is then blended till it turns into a smooth and frothy drink. Ice cubes are a must if you want a frothy drink.

Introduction

This drink can be made super healthy by using health drink (chocolate flavoured) instead of choco powder. This idea was adapted by my mother who regularly found out new ideas and ways in which she could make us drink milk. Ingredients

Milk- 2 cups (cold)
Sugar- 4 tablespoon
Chocolate syrup – 4 tablespoon
Chocolate ice cream- 4 scoops
Ice cubes- 4 to 6 cubes
Dark chocolate cubes- 2 cubes (melted)
Choco powder – 2 tablespoon (or chocolate flavored health drink)
Mint leaves- for garnishing

Step by step recipe with images


1) Take a mixing jar and add 2 cups of milk in it.


2) Add 2 tablespoon chocolate flavoured health powder in it.


3) Add 4 tablespoon sugar in it.


4) Add 2 tablespoon choco syrup to it.


5) Add 2 cubes dark chocolate to it.


6) Add 4 to 5 ice cubes to it.


7) Add 2 scoops chocolate ice cream to it.


8) Blend it evenly until sugar dissolves and it becomes frothy.


9) Pour it into glasses.


10) Add a scoop of chocolate ice cream on it.


11) Garnish it with chocolate sauce.


12) Add a mint leaves for garnishing.

13)Your yummy and chocolatey drink is ready. Tastes best when served chilled.

Tips and Tricks


1) Don’t alter the quantities unless you want a healthier version of the shake.
2) Do use ice cubes, it helps to make the shake frothy.
3) Blend until everything gets mixed well and sugar dissolves.
4) Make sure to melt the dark chocolate before adding it to the shake Or else it will get settled down at the base of the mixing jar.

Healthier version


1) Use brown sugar or jaggery instead of white sugar.
2) You can use low fat milk.
3) You can reduce the scoop of ice cream if you want.
4) You can use Health drinks instead of chocolate powder.
