You can also roast it at home if you want to but I prefer using the ones roasted in the market as they are super crunchy.

Ingredients
peanuts – 1 cup
Onion- 1 (small sized, finely chopped )
Tomato- 1 (Small size, finely chopped)
Potatoes- 1 ( boiled and chopped)
Coriander leaves- handful ( finely chopped)
Green chillies-2 ( Finely chopped)
Lemon juice- 1/2 tablespoon
Salt- as per taste
Chaat masala- 1 teaspoon
Step by step recipe with images
1) Firstly boil potatoes and let it cool down. 1 to 2 is enough for this recipe.
2) Now finely chop the Onion, Tomato, boiled potato, coriander leaves and green chillies.
3)Now take a mixing bowl and add a cup of peanuts in it.
4)Add finely chopped boiled potatoes in it.
5)Add finely chopped tomatoes in it.
6) Add finely chopped onions in it.
7) Add chopped green chillies in it.
8) Add finely chopped coriander leaves in it.
9) Add salt as per taste.
10) Now add 1 teaspoon chaat masala in it.
11) Lastly, add 1/2 tablespoon of lemon juice in it.
12)Toss them all together until combined well.

Tips and Tricks
1) Make sure the peanuts are crunchy.
2) Boil and cool down the potato 15 minutes before adding it in the chaat .
3) You can roast the peanuts at home on low flame for 5 to 10 minutes if you want.
4) Consume immediately after adding lemon as it will loose it’s crunch when left unconsumed for longer periods of time.
Healthier Version
1) Make sure the peanuts are roasted not fried.
2) You can skip using potatoes if you are on a weight-loss journey.
3) Skip using chillies, if you are making it for children.
