For all the nachos lover out there , here comes a recipe which is as both healthy and tasty at the same time. This super smooth and creamy cheese corn dip is made with simplest Ingredients and in minimum time. This is a self inspired recipe which I usually make for my brother who is fond of nachos. You can even make it healthier by adding more varieties of chopped veggies of your choice in it. The cheesiness of this dip is beyond explanation.
Introduction
This recipe is made by tossing veggies in butter and then roasting some refined flour in it , which is then turned into a thick sauce by adding milk and cheese in it. The sauce is then seasoned with herbs and spices. Boiled Sweet Corn adds a sweet bite and crunch to the sauce making it a perfect dip. Veggies should not be overcooked. This cheese corn dip is perfect for your house parties and birthdays . Avoid using chilli flakes if you are making this recipe for your children . Ingredients
Butter- 2 tablespoon ( melted)
Capsicum- 2 tablespoon ( finely chopped)
Onions- 3 tablespoon ( finely chopped)
Sweet Corn – 3 tablespoon
Refined flour- 1/2 tablespoon
Milk- 1/2 cup
Cheese- 3 cubes
Black pepper- 1/2 teaspoon
Salt – as per taste
Chilli flakes- 1/2 teaspoon
Step by step recipe with images
1) Firstly heat a pan with 2 tablespoon butter.
2)Now add 2 tablespoon chopped capsicum in it.
3) Add 3 tablespoon chopped onions in it.
4) Add 3 tablespoon sweet corn in it.
5)Stir and cook them on medium high flame for a minute.
6)Now add 1/2 tablespoon of refined flour in it.
7) Stir well and cook for a minute.
8)Now add 1/2 cup of milk in it.
9)Stir them well and cook them for 2 minutes.
10) Once it starts boiling, add 3 sliced cubes of cheese in it.
11)Keep stirring and cooking them on low flame for a minute.
12) Cook until it turns creamy.
13) Now add 1/2 teaspoon if black pepper in it.
14) Add salt as per taste.
15) Add 1/2 teaspoon of chilli flakes in it.
16) Mix them well and cook it for 10 seconds on low flame.
17) Once it reaches the creamy consistency, turn off the flame.
18) Your yummy, creamy, cheesy and delicious dip for nachos are ready. Dip your crunchy nachos in them and enjoy the flavourful experience.
Tips and Tricks
1) Slice the veggies finely.
2)Keep the flame at low to medium throughout.
3) Add cheese when it starts boiling.
4) Don’t overcook after adding flour.
5) Keep stirring while adding milk to avoid lumps.
6) Turn of the flame Once it turns creamy and thick.
7) You can alter the seasonings as per your choice.
