Chinese Bhel easy and simple recipe

For all the chinese lovers out there ,here comes one of the most loved chinese recipe Chinese bhel. A fusion recipe of chopsuey and bhelpuri ,This delicious recipe has it’s origin in Mumbai and has now become famous throughout the country. This indo chinese recipe is made by combining two components Firstly, fried noodles and secondly, a chinese sauce with is full of veggies and chines seasonings. Each bite will give you a different flavor plus the crispness of the Noodles will add that extra dose of deliciousness to the dish.

Introduction

As explained earlier, you need main two components Firstly, the fried noodles which need to be boiled and fried until crisp and secondly, the sauce which is made by tossing the veggies along with sauces and seasonings to give it a sweet, sour and spicy taste. The two components are then combined together and enjoyed instantly. This recipe is a sure shot hit for all party and dinner dates. Ingredients

Ingredients:Bhel sauce:Oil- 2 tablespoon Chillies – 2 small onesGinger- 1 inchGarlic- 4 to 5 clovesOnion- 1 medium sizedCapsicum- 1 medium sized Carrots- 1 medium sizedVinegar- 1 tablespoon Sugar- 1/2 tablespoon Salt- as per tasteSchezwan sauce – 2 tablespoon Tomato ketchup- 2 tablespoon Soy sauce – 1 tablespoon Black pepper- 1/2 teaspoon Noodles:Noodles- 4 to 5 blocksWater- 2 cupsOil- 1.5 cupsSalt – 1 tablespoon

Step by step recipe:

Bhel sauce:

1)Heat a pan with 2 tablespoon of Oil.

2)Add the finely crushed ginger, garlic and chillies in it.

3)Add 1/2 cup Julienne onions in it.

4)Add 1/2cup Julienne capsicum in it.

5)Add 1/2 cup Julienne carrots in it.

6)Saute them well and cook it on high flame for a minute.

7)Now add a tablespoon of vinegar in it.

8)Add 1/2 tablespoon of sugar in it.

9)Add salt as per taste.

10)Add 2 tablespoon of Schezwan sauce in it.

15)Cook them for a minute on high flame.

Boiling and frying noodles:

1)Firstly heat a pan with 2 cups of water.

2)Add a tablespoon of salt and let it boil.

3)Now Add 4 to 5 cubes or blocks of Noodles in it.

4)Once it boils ,drain and keep it aside for later.

5)Now heat a pan with oil.

6)Add the drained Noodles in hot oil in small batches.

7)Cook it on low flame for 4 to 5 mints until golden brown and crisp.

8)Once done drain the Noodles in kitchen paper.Repeat the process with the remaining batches.

Assembling the components:

1)Firstly take a block of fried Noodles.

2)Crush them with your hands and Transfer them in a bowl.

3)Now add the bhel sauce in it.

4)Toss them well. Make sure everything get mixed properly.

5)Once done, It’s time to plate and serve it.

Tips and Tricks

1) Don’t overboil the noodles.
2)Drain and keep the Noodles aside for 10 minutes before frying.
3)Fry the Noodles in low flame for best results.
4)You can add more veggies of your choice.
5)Prepare the sauce on high or medium high flame.
6)Once you Mix the components together, consume it immediately as it will turn soggy.

Healthier Version

1)Use Multigrain Noodles or wheat flour Noodles.
2)Avoid frying instead air fry the Noodles.
3)Add more and more veggies in your bhel.
