Rava toast is one of the most easiest, healthiest and at the same time yummiest breakfast or tiffin recipe you have ever came across. This can be made instantly and your li’ll one will surely enjoy it. They are full of flavours and at the same time filling too. The Ingredients required are easily available in the kitchen . You can add grated carrots, diced capsicum and sweet corn if you like but I preferred it keeping as simple and easy as I could.
Introduction
All you need to do is to make a semi thick batter with semolina and Curd and then add veggies of your choice in it. I simply used tomatoes, onion and green chillies. Then season it with salt and spices and add water to adjust the consistency. Finally it is applied on one side of the Bread slice and toasted on both sides until golden brown and crisp. Ingredients
Onion- 1 medium sized
Tomato- 1 medium sized
Green chillies- 2 (finely chopped)
Rava-4 tablespoon
Curd- 4 tablespoon
Bread slices-4 slices
Water- as per requirements
Salt – as per taste
Cumin powder- 1/2 teaspoon
Step by step recipe with images
1) Finely chop the tomato, onion and chillies
.
2)Now take a bowl and add 4 tablespoon semolina(Rava/sooji) in it.
3)Add 4 tablespoon Curd in it.
4)Add the chopped onions in it.
5)Add the chopped tomatoes in it.
6)Add finely chopped green chillies in it.
7)Mix them well.
8) Add one or two tablespoon of water to give it a perfect consistency.
9)Give them a good Stir.
10)Now add salt as per taste.
11)Add 1/2 teaspoon cumin powder in it.
12)Stir well and rest it for 10 minutes.
13)Now take 3 to 4 Bread slices.
14)Add the Rava mixture on top.
15) Spread them evenly on all sides.
16)Now heat a pan with oil.
17)Place the Bread slice on it with the rava side facing downwards.
18)Now add oil on both the slices.
19)Cook it for 3 to 4 minutes on medium high flame.
20)Then flip the Bread on the other side.
21)Cook the other side on low flame for 2 to 3 minutes until golden brown and crisp.
22)Now transfer them in a plate.
23)Slice them well as shown.

Tips and Tricks
1)Chop the veggies finely.
2)Make sure the consistency of the rava batter is perfect. Avoid adding excessive water.
3)Toast the Bread slices on low to medium flame for best results.
Healthier Version
1) Use Multigrain or brown bread instead of white Bread.
