Boondi raita

  • Curd- 250 grams
  • Boondi- 150 grams
  • Cumin powder- 1/4 tablespoon
  • Black salt- 1/4 tablespoon
  • Salt- as per taste.
  • Green chillies- 2 (finely crushed)
  • Coriander leaves- 1 tablespoon) finely chopped
  • Ice cubes- 4 to 5 cubes.


  • Firstly take a mixing bowl and add 250 grams of curd to it.
  • Beat it with the help of a beater or fork.
  • Beat until smooth and creamy.
  • Now add 1/4 tablespoon cumin powder in it.
  •  Add 1/4 tablespoon black salt in it.
  •  Add salt as per taste.
  • Add chopped green chillies to it.
  •  Add 150 grams boondi to it.
  • Add 4 to 5 ice cubes to it.
  • Add freshly chopped coriander leaves to it.
  • Stir it well until everything gets mixed.
  • Rest it for an hour in the refrigerator until boondi soaks the curd well. Add more ice cubes or water if required.
  •  When the boondi becomes soft, your raita is ready to be served.
  •  Finally garnish it with coriander or mint leaves and enjoy with your favourite Indian recipes.
